We ordered a pair of Thule Bike Stacker Storage Rack from Jenson USA.
I wish I had taken a picture of the mess of bikes before, but it was a mess of four bikes all piled upon each other and not at all convenient for accessing the bikes or storing anything else in the same space.
Now there is space to store things between the racks. The racks greatly increase accessibility to any of the bikes. The racks are very sturdy and stable. For some extra stability I also bungee corded the racks together.
Fair warning though, these things are tall.
Overall, I don't think it takes up any less space than the four bikes leaning against the wall, but it makes it all a lot more accessible and I like how it moves the storage not just laterally but also vertically.
Also, the space to put the bike gear box, for now, or trainers in the future, and the ability to store the air pumps in the middle is nice and convenient.
