Closet LED Strip Lighting

New apartment, new closet. This one is fairly decent in size.
It has two doors, but with the furniture arranged we really only have access to one.

But the new closet did not come with a light.

The following image is rather deceptive. It looks rather bright but if you look closely the image is very granular because it is artificially brightened through the camera's ISO.

Due to not having a light I needed to install one.

I bought a LED Ribbon Light at The Home Depot. The end result works pretty well. (Although, again my camera is struggling with the lighting.)

It was an absolute pain in the rear to hang up though. The screws did not want to do into the drywall. I had to pre-drill the holes and then hand screw on the brackets. This required a lot of time on a multi-step step stool and a lot of moving it through the closet.

Also the brackets are made of all too flexible plastic only screwed in at one end. Their flexibility made hanging the LED ribbon a problem. This was not an altogether pleasant experience, and one I would likely have gotten to skip if the closet had a light to start with.

Questions and comments always welcome.
