Ikea Hemnes Cabinet with Panel/Glass Doors

Moved again and have a new apartment that lacks a pantry.
As solutions we looked at some metal shelving cabinets, wooden bookshelves, and so on. Ultimately my wife and I decided on the HEMNES Cabinet with panel/glass door from Ikea.

What we particularly liked about it is that it has a decent price point. It is also made of pine as opposed to particle board or low grade plywood.

I did not label this one as disposable furniture, we like the look enough that we hope it will prove to be durable and move well. So, this time in construction we used wood glue in order to more solidly construct the cabinet.

As usual with Ikea furniture I am not going to specify building  instructions or steps because the instructions provided are more than adequate. When we bought it the package was missing a piece necessary to hold a foot pad and responsible for leveling. I wound up driving back out to the Ikea of purchase to pickup the missing part. They can ship it to you, but it takes about a week and can make life difficult if you only discover the missing part once you have started construction.
In its finished form it looks decent and fulfills its purpose as a pantry.
I do complain about the aesthetics of this one strip of board here. So the longitudinal members of the doors are made up of segments that are joined top and bottom. And for whatever reason they used this segment which has a kind of ugly strip. It is odd to me that they did not select a board segment that matched the rest of the segments.
The hinges are pretty robust and functional.
Lastly, I am not in love with the shelf gap, but it is certainly livable and functional.
As usual I am glad to answer any questions in the comments.
